Bill Cosby used to do the Jell-O brand pudding commercials. He'd crawl around on the floor with a bunch of kids pretending to be a car. Then he'd pretend like he was running out of gas and would say, "Oh no! No more Jell-O brand pudding."
There was a common joke among young kids, "Hey did you hear Bill Cosby died? ... He ran out of Jell-O brand pudding."
You are correct. It wan't funny when I was in fourth grade and it's still not funny. Although it is becoming more believable.
