I've been to singing school and I remember how to beat 2/4 time and 4/4 time just not 3/4. Lol I feel sort of dumb because I know it's easy I'm just having a blond moment ^.^

Okay just like to beat 4/4 is "down, in, out, up" That's what I mean. Like when a man leads a song at church. He beats time with his hand.

you count it like this:
1-2-3-1-2-3-1-2-3
or 1 and 2 and 3 and 1 and 2 and 3 and.....the quater note gets one beat and there are three beats per measure.
Hope this helps!

1 2 3...1 2 3...1 2 3 . I guess its not something that can really be "taught" you just have to get it on your own. Listen to a song that has 3/4 beat and then try to hum the beat aloud as the song plays. That is how I learned it.

1, 2, 3 1, 2, 3 If you were playing piano you would move your finger a little faster on the downbeat (1) so that it would be louder, then use a lighter touch on the second and third beat. In Suzuki piano, we would say to ourselves, "Down, up, up. Down, up , up." That might help you with the rhythm, too.

Uhhhh....

1 - 2 - 3 -1 -2 - 3 -1 -2 -3, etc.

The quarter note still get the beat, there are just 3 of them in the measure.
