Well, the story is a complicated twist and misunderstanding. Viola Hastings (Amanda Bynes) is a member of an upper-class family and plays for her school's (Cornwall High) soccer team. When Cornwall cuts the girls' soccer team because not enough girls signed up for it, Viola decides to try out for the boys' team. The coach of the Cornwall boy’s team refuses to allow her to play on the team.

When her twin Sebastian, scheduled to attend Illyria High School, decides to go to London to play music, Viola resolves to pose as Sebastian so that she can try out for the Illyria boys’ soccer team. Then, she could play against Cornwall and show her old school that girls can indeed play soccer just as well as the boys.

To look like a boy, she cross-dresses and adopts masculine attributes with the help of her friend Paul Antonio. She falls in love with Sebastian's handsome roommate Duke Orsino (Channing Tatum), the captain of the Illyria boys' soccer team. Meanwhile, Duke has a crush on Olivia, the prettiest girl in school. Duke enlists the help of Viola (posing as Sebastian) to help him get a date with Olivia, but in this process of matchmaking, Olivia falls for Viola (as Sebastian) instead. To make Viola (as Sebastian) notice her, Olivia flirts and dates Duke, to Viola's chagrin. When the real Sebastian unexpectedly returns from London early, Olivia kisses him in front of Duke, setting off a series of confused actions and reactions, including Viola being thrown out of her room and Illyria nearly losing the soccer game due to Duke's anger.

Ok I saw it...but what do you need suggestions of how to write a review or people to tell you the movie??

If you need suggestions then go to Yahoo Movies search for She's The Man and read the reviews for inspiration....

If you need me to tell the movie here it goes:
Amanda Bynes stars as Viola and she has a twin brother called sebastian. So she has to disguise herself as her twin brother and go to boarding school cuz her bro is at london trying to be a musician, so at the school she has her roomate duke and she falls in love with him but he is inlove with olivia and they both fall for each other and viola gets all jealous and stuff and she tries everything to keep them apart and stuff but then sebastian returns two days before two campus and finds out that viola is replacing him...its mostly a comedy like all these goofy stuff happen but it's cool and fun!

Hop I helped....

I saw "She's the Man" about 6 times on a plane to France, so I'll be able to help!

I thought Amanda Bynes was really good at playing a boy, but she still needs some developing as an actress.
The script was really clever and well-written. (I liked the tampon in the nose part--that was original.)
I wish it made me laugh more, but that was just me. This movie seemed to be hilarious, but it really wasn't... it was like "hehe.. siigh.." but that's it...
It's good that the movie was close to the original story line from Shakespere. This one was wayy better because it's SO much easier to understand!!
The end was very good because it wasn't all cheesy like most of Amanda Byne's movies.

hope this helped!

It's definitely a teen or tween movie. Incorporate something about girls and playing soccer cause she kicked ***. And for all those that said it sucked, then don't watch teen movies. Amanda bynes is adorable and is a fun person to watch in movies. She always has a way about her and does a good job at making me laugh.
Hope that helped a little.

The movie is about genre discrimination and finding out who you really are. Amanda Bynes, lovely as always, plays Viola, a tomboy who loves footballl, with her brother Sebastian away, it`s Viola`s chance to show how good she is for this sport, but in the middle she will have problems with her brother`s ex girlfriend and her roommate Duke as Viola falls in love with him.

I would suggest that you to play special attention to the main message of this movie which is almost at the end, it talks about not allowing girls in malel football teams as a way of discriminitation and it shows you that like Viola if you fight for what you believe you can ahieve your goals. Sorry for the lenght, but i hope it is useful, Good luck!!

It was cute, but a little predictable and, a little far-fetched. But, a good movie... if you're a teenage girl with nothing better to do.

ok....girls tend to like it but guys not that much. If you don't pay attention you won't understand why she does what she does. its a good movie if your into sports and into the romantic thing...you'll like it.
