back in 2004, if the deal was shaq for odom, butler, grant, and wade which could have been considered. how would both teams look right now? would miami win the championship? would wade still be as good? would wade play point or back up for kobe? and would phil still coach the 04-05 year?

The Heat would still be good, but not good enough to get far in the playoffs. The Lakers would be awesome. With D-Wade at PG and Kobe at SG . . . that would be one of the deadliest duo's in NBA history. Once they got some chemistry going they would win some rings. What team would have two guards that good on the SAME TEAM to defend Wade and Kobe? Teams wouldn't be able to defend them BOTH. Phil still wouldn't have been the coach because he didn't like Kobe.

The point of trading is to get players that you need. It would never happen because a team that has Kobe doesn't need Wade.
