I think it's meant as a compliment. But it just depends on who says it and in what context.

A Little Caus Its A Beautiful Thing. I Would Rather Be Called BEAUTIFUL Than Be Called Hott And Sexy. I Get That A Lot And Its Kinda Old And Frustrated But It Doesnt Matter To ME That Much Caus My Boyfriend Never Says Im Hott He Thinks Im Completely Beautiful And Gorgeous! Ya Feel Me?Ur Not Alone.
