A truly great movie!
Even though I am a guy, I was probably more like Ally Sheely's character (the head case) than any other. Always trying to get a reaction by doing weird things and making people think I was something I wasnot.
I had a few friends, but was mostly invisible at school.
I almost didn't go to my 30th HS reunion. I had never been back to that town since I graduated, and I wasn't sure whether I was more scared that people would remember me as a loser, or that noone would remember me at all
It turned out that a few did remember me, and I had a great time.

I can relate to Allison (Alley Sheedy's character). Except the liar part. lol I'm 51 years old and I have loved that movie for many years. I like Pretty in Pink too. Also the music of Simple Minds.
