LLU has the lowest average MCAT score of any MD program in California. Their avg. GPA is around 3.5, 3.6, scores are in the 30-32 range (which is up significantly from about 7 years ago).

HOWEVER, I hope you're active in your church. Religion (though they say otherwise) does count for a lot.

If you really want a good statistical answer to your question you should ask an admissions counselor at Loma Linda Medical School. The fact is they are supposed to provide you with that information. Also depending on when you apply your chances may be better-If you apply early for example, your more likely to get accepted They also take into consideration (volunteer and community service) and your participation in professional organizations. Also once you take the exam you can request from the testing center their averages based on those who have taken the test in the last year. Schools often have a cut off for certain exams themselves- you can ask the admissions counselor that as well. Good Luck!

go to the aamc webpage and look up the information from there. It will tell you all the statistics from those who applied vs. those matriculated, both GPA and MCAT. MCAT scores are weighed less heavily when compared to your GPA, and the science GPA is especially considered. Exceptions or other factors could be family experiences, research, volunteering, personal illnesses, and your state of residency can all play factors into the admissions committee decision
