If crunches made your tummy look bigger, it is probably because the muscles were tired and needed to relax, and so were hanging loose after the workout. Don't be discouraged, keep at it.
You have to exercise and keep exercising regularly before you see results. It is not going to happen after one or two sessions, but after a few months of dedication, you will start to notice changes. It won't be easy, but you can do it.

Don't diet, just eat healthy, no more, no less, drink a lot of water, preferably mineral water, because water alone will actually flush minerals out of your body (electrolytes) and can be very dangerous, and exercise. Be consistent.. do it a bit every day, start slowly or you will injure yourself.
Initially, you will gain a bit of weight because you will be building muscle.. muscle is good, it burns up more energy.. so within 2 months or so, you'll start seeing results.
It's much better to eat little bits all day long, (healthy snacks, fruit and such).. like 6 small meals, than it is to eat 1 big meal..
And sleep a lot.. if you just diet by not eating enough, your body will simply go into 'survival mode'.. thinking food is scarce.. which means your metabolism will actually slow down. You want it up.
Eat fruit and lots of fibres.. that will fill you up and help your digestive system too... Do not use any of those commercial products or anything.. there IS NO EASY WAY. There is however a healthy versus unhealthy way and I just described to you the healthy way.
Eating raw or lightly steamed/microwaved broccoli usually fills me up and takes away feeling of hunger.. and is healthy too. try it.

What do you mean really fast? I’ve been doing a modified Southbeach/Atkins diet for about a month now. I’ve lost almost twenty pounds. The first fifteen came off in two weeks (induction period). I made sure that I completely cut out sugar. That means no potatoes, fruit, pastas, bread, etc. For the first two weeks, my diet really only consisted of eating vegetable soup, eggs with swiss cheese, lean meat like chicken, turkey, fish and lots of veggies. If you stick to that for ten days, I promise you’ll loose anywhere from 10 to 15 pounds. Remember you can’t cheat!! Absolutely not. This diet is shifting your insulin levels so that your body learns how to process and burn fat. If you cheat you WILL gain weight. So I only recommend doing the diet if you can be very religious about sticking to it. Remember, fish, veggies, chicken, turkey, eggs, soup (only vegetable with no noodles, potatoes or pasta), cheese and plenty of salad. If you stick to that, you’ll definitely loose weight. Oh and don’t forget to drink plenty of water. Good Luck!
