English was decreed the official language of the US a couple of months ago in Congress.

French is irrelevant in the world ouside of france, quebec and a few islands in the carribbean...

If anything, spanish will become compulsory LOOOOONG before french will.
(Or possibly english)

Why French? What about ENGLISH or SPANISH? Hell, Chinese is probably more relevent than FRENCH!
