Most zoos don't pay much, but a few of the highest paying zoos in the U.S. are Los Angeles zoo, San Diego Zoo and Wild Animal Park, Disneys Animal Kingdom. However it is HIGHLY competative to get these jobs.

Not enough. At the KC Zoo as a trainee they get $7.00 per hr. As a zoo keeper they get $11.00 per hr

It's not enough for the crap you have to go thru with management. And the working conditions suck.

Hello.
I think they get a pretty good amount for what they have to do with all the animal's.
But I was tolded one's,the pay was'nt worth all the work there is to do,never done.
