I'm just curious if other people wonder the same things I do... such as the existence of Heaven and Hell and Inbetween, personal heavens / personal hells, how long it takes a soul to reincarnate, what happens when passing through... etc.

To be honest, I don't really worry about it - I'm quite confident about my soul living on (as confident as you can be about something that you have no proof of).
My bigger worry is how I'll cope when those I love are gone, and if I will have and conciousness when I'm gone - if I will be around in some form to see the people I've left behind and what they go through. Also, I worry about what will happen to my body - I've got very specific requests, and I worry that they won't be respected.

Being a Christian, I believe in the existance of a heaven and hell, the result as determined by faith in Jesus Christ to redeem someone from his sins.

There are days when it is difficult; when I see what some people endure and what we are capable of in harming each other, I wonder about God and whether we can deserve to live forever no matter what.

But, I also know that life is really short (I feel it much more sharply than even 5 years ago), and suffering can be so minute compared to eternity. It's a great comfort at times.

my father who was a BIG SKEPTIC had open heart surgury in 1982, he died on the table for 5 min 20 sec. after 4 min. you can have all sorts of brain damage and other problems from lack of oxygen... anyway he said he had an out of body experience and he heard the Dr.'s tell someone to turn off the music (they had Queen playing in the OR) my dad then said he was being pulled backward and he kept looking at himself and the Dr.s using the paddles on him. He said he could actually feel what the Dr.s were thinking and how much they were trying to save him. Then as he was being pulled back he could feel and see a bright light coming from behind him.. he said it felt like sunshine.. hot on your back but very loving.. he also saw some type of small white/yellow lights burst all around him and he heard a deep humming sound. He started thinking about us (his kids) we were little at the time and how much we would need him.. he realized that his thoughts were heard and he started slowing down... he asked/begged to stay here with us and the more he pleeded the slower he went .. he heard a woman's voice tell him.. go back go back.. and next thing he knew he was in intensive care. When the Dr. came in he told them that they shouldn't have been listening to Queen in there and that he was sore from them using the paddles on him. Mind you this was before he was told anything..the Dr. then called the other Dr in and asked my dad what did he think happened to him.. my dad told him the story as best he could.. then the Dr. told my mother the story.. and confirmed that it did indeed happen as my father said. Just so you know it deeply changed my father.. he was more fun, loving and never feared death after that.. he told me and my brother that he asked God to remember that experience so he could tell his children to cherish life, and live for today so that we wouldn't be afraid. I hope this helps

I don't concern myself with thoughts of the after-life. I try to live a good life and figure whatever comes afterwards will be a bonus.

My greatest concern is whether the ones I love will find the Way.
