I bought a computer from my work and I just noticed recently it doesn't have any USB outlets, is it possible to install one and if so should I pay someone? Know any good places? And how much would it cost? (live in Florida)

Yes it is possible and it's very easy. Go to your store and get a USB PCI card. It's an addon that will have probably four USB slots.

As for installation, it'll come with instructions but it's very easy. All you do is open up the case and find an empty white colored slot. It'll be the same size as the card that you just bought. It can only go in one direction so slide it in and screw it on and you're all set. You'll probably need to install a driver which will come with the unit.

I'm not sure how much they cost but I couldn't imagine it costing more than $20-$30. Good luck!

If you have an open card slot (look on the back of the PC) you can purchase a USB 2.0 card that you just plug in. Should not need anyone to do this for you. It is easy. Have not priced one recently but I would guess $30-40.

Go by any electronics store and ask for a
'PCI USB Adapter Card'

This is a card that installs into an open/free PCI (white slot on the motherboard).

Just like one can pick up a video, sound or modem card; you can also buy a USB card. All you need is an open slot on your motherboard. Check out Best Buy, Fry's Electronics, Circuit City or any other computer/electronic gagit store.
