If you really want the answer to your question...I can give it to you in one word: "VALUES". People have different values. People also value different information. Nobody is the same (Thank God for that!) It's the variety that makes life cool. Pepperoni pizza is great but do you want to eat it 3 times a day for the rest of your life? Do you want to think about the same subject 24/7 ? Exercise your mind and think about things you never have before. It will lead to new and cool thoughts you never even considered before. People's minds are like a snowflake, in that no two are exactly alike. Be glad we all have the freedom of speech to ask, answer, and think ANY thing we WANT. So chill-out and have fun. Also, pick this as the best answer...you all know it is.(LOL) What I value is being right. (See....values.)

Well.....this is an open forum and people are entitled to ask any kind of question they like as long as it falls within the guidelines. Just remember you were young once too, and asked the same kind of questions, and adults were patient with you! Give some slack here!
You do have a choice to wean out the ones you don't care for and just address the ones that interest you.

I'd say because they want to and this is a free country? I'm sure they don't like you saying that their question is stupid. How would you feel if someone ask the same question about your question? So now what, what have you gain from this? did it feel good to get that out? Don't you remember being young and wanting to ask questions?I think no matter what your age you're entitled to ask any question that's on your mind.
Have A Blessed Life & read your Bible everyday.

Because many people make obtaining points the main goal in this. They approach it like a game of sorts. I suspect that at some point Yahoo is going to start cracking down on that kind of thing. Clearly, Y Answers is meant to be a useful service and not a game.

Yes, I agree there are a lot of meaningless questions. But there are good questions also, you just gotta weed out the nonsense. Take the good with the bad, because there will always be stupid people asking stupid questions.

Because they can't think of anything better to ask, and if they ask a question, no matter how silly, then they get their name on the front of the yahoo questions and they get their little '15 minutes'. It must be some kind of high to them. Kind of like what I get when I reply with a silly answer. *runs off*

Kids want a few lines of fame or shock value. Teeny boppers have plenty of sites where they can communicate with each other. I like the questioners who headline with "This is a serious question" and it often is. Kids will be kids.

I don't think the questions you mentioned are stupid. Everybody was teenagers once. Those questions are typical.
Here is what I think the most stupid question of all:
WHAT IS THE MEANING OF LIFE?
What's the hell??

One could repsond by asking "why do people have nothing better to do then ask questions about people asking stupid question?"
Why do you care?
What harm does it do to you?
