Salty - I think it is hard to avoid if you are crying - they tend to roll into or at least near the mouth, which contains the tongue for tasting.

Yes, they were salty and warm. And coming down fast. When I cry I cry a lot. So I basically get a whole mouth full.

Yeah... which is why I can't watch "dog" movies like Old Yeller, Homeward Bound, Fluke, and Eight Below.
I'm a real softy for those kind of movies.
