Check to make sure that your document doesn't have seciont headers in it that might eb causing the page numbers to reset.

Place a section break at the end of page 59
Then create a new header/footer beginning with page 60 and set it to begin number with "60".

It's a bug in MS Word. Contact Microsoft or manually insert page numbers on each page, it take times.
