Then when they complain online they say they are too slow but they are not too slow when the cops are around. It doesn't make sence. I think there needs to be more Cops on the streets. Cops Presece Makes all the difference.

I don't know if this is true with other cultures, but it's my theory that cultures that are based on the Christian religion have a general contempt for law. It's built in to their religion to reject the law and just ask for grace.

People throw rocks at those who KEEP the law more often than at those who BREAK the law. For it's a sin to try to keep the law, relying on self et cetera.

Because most people know instinctively that our speed laws are ridiculous. Mostly put low to be able to 'tax' (read 'screw') the driving public.
Anyone that has ever driven on the German autobahn will confirm that.
And to the asker, if you want to live in a police state, why don't you go to one of the former Soviet states, and stop totally mucking up this country, which at one time actually had some freedoms...

complaining about slow speeds is one thing... driving past a cop car while speeding is stupid.
Therefore, people aren't stupid, they just think the speeds are set to low.
My question is: Why do some cops complain about this? Why not complain about the ridiculous traffic laws, it'd make more sense.

People only drive the speed limit - or under the speed limit - when police are around to avoid getting a traffic ticket, having to pay the fine, take time off from work to appear in traffic court, maybe have to take a night and go to traffic school, and possibly paying higher auto insurance costs.

The reason they drive faster when police aren't present is because they are in a hurry to get to where they are going. I know that when I'm on my way to wherever, I want to get there as quickly as possible, and not have any lolly-gaggers impede my progress. Slower drivers in the right lane, Faster drivers in the left lane. That's the rule . . . STICK TO IT!

I continuously discover it humorous. If i'm on patrol, i do no longer probable complication approximately it, many times I haven't any actual place to bypass by utilising a undeniable time. If i'm responding to a decision, it may get stressful. As for finding for paranoid human beings, that rather relies upon on the placement and ecosystem, time of day, component to patrol and so on. yet oftentimes, issues that don't look primary, specific, you have a tendency to word and pay greater interest too. I continuously mentioned, in case you haven't any longer something to conceal, then you extremely've no longer something to tension approximately.

I always do "five over" when the cop is there. Its funny that when the cop is doing ten under the dimwit cagers won't pass him at the legal limit.
