I think people are saying that its too soon. I don't think so. If you are personally involved in that tradgedy then don't see the movie. Gosh, how many movies did they make involving vietnam. I don't think this is a big deal. I would love to see it , although it looks really sad cause I personally did not know anyone. My sister heard that the NY Port Authority advised all Policemen, Firemen, etc.... involved that day to not watch the movie for it could cause post-tramatic syndrome. I agree. So let us who know nothing about that day except what we heard on the news watch it. And those guys that the movie is about survived so it has a happy ending(sort of).

It's ok to make a movie about everything - the question is whether a movie can do justice to its subject. No movie will ever be able to do justice to the holocaust - that is impossible. And I don't think that any movie can do justice to the death of one person. Picasso's Guernica is a great painting but it is doesn't do justice to what happened in Guernica. All art is approximation - and sometimes it comes very close. There has never been a movie that came close to the Holocaust - with 9/11 we'll have to wait....

It is just a little too soon to do a 9/11 movie. It seems to be in bad taste. I don't think americans are biased, there have been movies about the holocaust but it was more than 5 years since it happened.

no hate mail, its a valid question ! its absolutely ok,and thats why there are 2 of them.(tv and regular movie).but ,i definately can understand that someone who lost a relative recently in 9-11,is going to feel that there wound is reopening every time the commercial comes on-and it comes on a lot.its been nearly 5 yrs, theyre putting their lives 2gether and r pretty happy again, and now-heres posters movie trailors, commercials, etc.,reminding them again.like,if ur gramma died ,would u want a commercial saying "new movie-death of ur gramma",over and over again.whereas, the holocaust happened in the 1930's and 40's.while the world cannot and should not forget the horrors that took place there,a lot of the people who were personally affected by it are deceased now.its like, the titanic movie is romantic and historical now,but i'm sure the people back then thought is was bloody awful !!!!u can really understand both sides, one is to learn about history, one is,yeah, these movies will cause pain to people who very recently went thru the worst pain of their lives.

Al lot of people just think it's too so to be making 9/11 movies. No one got upset about the move Pearl Harbor, and 50 years from now no one will be upset about 9/11 movies

Several movies have been made about 9/11. So what are you talking about? BTW the word is biased. There were also several movies about Pearl Harbor within a decade of the event.

its the fact that it was happened only 5 years ago and people feel its to soon. its fine with me that they made that movie, but then again i wasn't as affected as others who were there or who knew poeple who died! they(meaning someone who is very conservitive) put this movie out now so that it would build up that same fire in people as when it happened so that people would start to support the war again....personally, i don't agree with it...but thats why they put it out now!

I have not seen the movie so I cannot judge it. I do think that if it is done respectfully than why not make a movie about it.
