The Notebook, Lord of War, Match Point, Mean Girls, Four Brothers, Man on Fire, John Q, Elf, Saving Face, American History X, Crash, and The Last Thing are very very good movies. I live right next to blockbuster and have the movie pass. So I know my movies.

Ron Howard is a great movie director.
A Beautiful Mind, The Da Vinci Code, Apollo 13, ect.
Lord of the Rings, Jaws, The 6th Sence, and Star Wars are great films too.

Don't know what type of movies you're wanting to see but if you have kids I highly recommend Barnyard. We saw it this weekend and it's the funniest animated movie I've ever seen.
