You know that solar powered thing that you attach to your window on hot days and it's supposed to reduce the temperature by 15-20 degrees.

It is a little tiny solar powered fan. It will ventilate your car a bit, and does help to keep it somewhat cooler than it would be otherwise, but it will be no cooler than the outside air and the surfaces that are in sunlight will still be hot to the touch. You'll have to use one of those shade screens to keep surfaces cool.

Wow, talk about coincidence...I was just looking at this device on the internet and thinking about buying it. What do you know about it? I was wondering if when it's on the top of the window, does the window completely close, or is there a slight opening? Have you found out anything?

If it's supposed to keep "pets" cooler, do you think there's enough "cool air' blowing through that little fan before it dies?
That seal is just an invitation for a thief to remove and help himself to anything inside your car. Who pays attention to alarms that go off anyway.

That is a waste of money. Windsheild covers over more protection.
