Too "hissy" sounding with the two c's. If you want an old fashioned name that works with the meaning and sound of Claire, how about Celeste?

I worked with a Cecilia once - she was a strong, independent, free-spirited woman who was very conscientious about her work & fiercely loyal. So, I think it's a good name!

I like Claire but I don't care for Cecilia. It's too old sounding. Sounds like an old woman or something.

Meh. It was my name in 9th grade spanish... I think I'd stick with jjust plain Celia.
