It's slow motion hockey and what kind of game can you not use your hands in?!

I grew up playing soccer as a kid and that was fun, but I can't stand watching it on the television. A lot depends on culture.. my husband being British can't get enough of it.

Why would anyone watch American 'Football'? A wimpy version of rugby where you have to stop for a rest every five minutes and wear full Kevlar body armour to stop yourself getting hurt.
Football, to give it its official and proper name, is a great sport. There aren't as many goals so those that there are are more exiting. It's a game of great skill, not being able to use your hands is one of the things that makes it so skillful and fun.
I'm assuming you're an American, well bugger off and go watch your corrupted, stolen sports, like baseball or Basketball, both of which originated from games in England that are only played by girls (rounders and netball respectively).

It's a good sport and has been around for centuries. Sorry it's not like your sh1tty hockey, where the stupid players start fighting for no reason. While canadians/americans aren't into soccer, the rest of the world is.

Its not soccer, its football. ~FOOT~ that's why u don't use your hands.And what u call football is a copy of a game called rugby. Learn to understand football before your bad talk it. U need to understand the spirit of football. I'm sure that its not hockey

i love soccer myself! it's just different. personally, i hate hockey but that doesn't mean that I can't understand why another person would like it

I only watch it to see the guys fall down and do that bouncy-wall thingy. I love the bouncy wall defense.
