I've tookin preg. tests before. I was wondering, should you wait a whole two minutes after peeing on the stick even if it already has the result? I didn't think nothin of it till I heard the results can change.

A positive pregnancy test should come up as soon as the urine reaches the spot where the results are shown (depending on what kind you use). After the time limit (like 30 minutes or so) you might see an evaporation line, but that doesn't mean its positive. That is just where the line that would have been positive has evaporated the urine and now has a color. If it is showing negative, you can wait if you would like... but I don't know if it will change any.

I've only had a test result show up immediately when I was pregnant. Otherwise, it's just the test stick trying to do it's job and you should wait out the time.

The results can change after an hour or so. If your result comes up before the two minutes, it should be fine.

You defintely dont have to wait. I took one(make that three) and the positive sign came up before I even put the stick down on the counter!! I am now 13 wks. pregant!

Not necessary if the results came up quickly then it is a definite answer

If it comes back positive before the two minutes, most likely you are pregnant.

If you are unsure take a second one.

good luck!
