I'm 16 and I like Thomas & Friends a little bit like a portion of likeness of Thomas. Is it ok to collect Thomas & Friends stuff only not as much as I did in my childhood?

I don't think so! If you like something and you want to be a collector, I think that is ok, who knows perhaps one day your collection will be worth some CA$H if you ever decide to sell it. I mean when we were chewing all that bubble gum to get the baseball cards years ago who would have thought that some of them would be worth what they are wotth today!?

Go for it, it's nice to have a hobby. I have a few Barbies, (well sometimes in the winter I sit and make doll clothes so I NEED some models, don't I? I also love sidewalk chalks sometimes I go out and paint flowers on part of my driveway or play hopscotch with the local kids, many of them think I am just a big homely kid :-) It's all good though, I think!
Have fun! If we all liked the same kinds of things then this world would be very boring, in my opinion!

Don't worry my friend, you aren't abnormal. There are many people that start collections in their childhood that they continue throughout their entire lives. My friend's daughter has collected Barbie dolls all her life. I started collecting coins when I was 7 and it ended up turning into a career in the collectibles field.

Your friends might rib you about it, and some of the ignorant kids on this forum might as well but ignore them... you'll have the last laugh when you sell the collection on Ebay for a hundred grand. Value notwithstanding, the important thing about collecting is to have fun...so if you like it, go for it.

Enjoy.

Thomas and friends are all about being positive and being a good person so go ahead. Hold on to the stuff that you get because you might want to pass it on one day.

You mean like thomas the train? Yes, definat.y. I used to watch clifford when I was 13, but you need to grow out of it by high school. When you have kids (if you do), then you can watch it. But not now.

I don't see any reason why not. If you like that stuff then you like it and if you want to collect it than its your bussiness. I am 22 years old and there are a few things that I wish I still had from my childhood.

you are never too old to collect things....guess what.....maybe twenty years from now, someone will be offering a million dollars for a thomas and friends item, you will have it. think about that!

there is nothing wrong with liking trains, I have a cousin who collected yu-gi-oh cards when he was 15. He could whip anybody. You are perfectly normal. (however, I wouldn't go around telling everybody, could KILL your social status)
