As of May of 1986 you can no longer manufacture any class III weapons (this includes full auto) for sale to civilians. There are pre 1982 full auto firearms available to transfer to people who apply and are granted a class III weapons permit and pay the tax stamp for transfer. There are a lot of different regulations associated with firearms and you can request information from the United States Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco Firearms and Explosives. Any violation of the law can and will result in severe penalties and it is not worth doing illegally.

LOL-You should add “and go to jail or be fined”. That is against the law unless you posses a tax stamp from the BATF. Call your local BATF head quarters and ask them what the procedure is.

Do it legally.

Other than the legal stuff it is not that hard and can be done a few different ways. Once you have the proper permissions I would suggest making it select fire for single shot, triple shot and full auto.

actually you can do it legally and quite easily there is a part that attaches to the trigger and is basically just a spring mechanism and it is legal because it is a separate part not built into the gun
