Question

guys, would you rather have a 2005 Venturi Fétish, or, audi le-mans quattro R8?
I mean, for an electric car, the Venturi Fetish has 300 hp and only one gear, so considering thats pretty good.
But, the audi le-mans quattro R8, has 420 hp.
So, which one would you rather have, cuz at this point, im leaning toward the audi with the most horse power.

and no, a '69 Yenko Camaro is not an option, but not a bad choice.................

I would take the Fetish. Despite the horsepower difference, it accelerates nearly as well as the Audi. (Fetish 0-60 in 4.5, Audi in 3.7) Electric motors have more torque at low RPMs than gas motors, which gives them superb acceleration from a standstill.

The car only needs one gear because electric motors have an extremely wide powerband. This means they deliver maximum power to the road at all moments. Gas motors need a transmission to match their narrow powerband to driving needs, and power is often wasted while this is happening. Gas engines are only 25% efficient, and in city driving this can drop to less than 10% from power losses due to idling and speed changes. Electric motors are 95% efficient, and most of that power goes right to the road.

Besides, to me, a sports car is about being cutting-edge, and different. Nobody expects an electric car to be powerful. This one is. It will really surprise people.
