The age of consent is 17. If there is less than three
years in age between the adult and victim, the crime is regarded
a misdemeanor. Misdemeanor statutory rape carries a maximum sentence of one year in jail.

If there is more than three years in age between the adult and victim, it's a felony, punishable by a maximum three-year prison term.

However, if the adult is 21 years or older and the victim is younger than 16, the maximum penalty is four years in prison.

I confess I don't know the age of consent in Louisiana. But I'm curious why you ask? Also, wouldn't it make sense to get the states to make it uniform? Maybe that would be too much to ask.
