There are condoms for females, yes, but there are also things called cervical caps that cover the cervix so sperm can't enter the uterus, and spermicidal tablets and films that kill the little buggers.

By the way, an IUD (inter uterine device) is not temporary. They are inserted into your uterus by a doctor and remain there for five to ten years (depending on the type you get).

It was either a female condom, a sponge, or a diaphram. IUD's are something permanently placed in the uterus by a dr (I have one). You probably know about the condom, and everyone has been very kind about the diaphram. A sponge is exactly that: a sponge filled with a spermicide. It absorbs the semen and kills the sperm.

Sounds like she was referring to her diaphragm. It's a little rubber bowl-shaped "thingy" that fits over the cervix, blocking it off so sperm can't get into the uterus.

She was talking about an IUD, its a contraceptive for women. She inserts it and after sex takes it out. Dont be shy, you cant learn if you dont ask.

She probably meant her diaphram. Its a cover for the
opening of the cervix.
