They sold plenty of records and pictures though.Besides, who in their right mind would sit through TWO HOURS OF COUNTRY FEMALE VOCALISTS? Ugh.

Ethan, they spoke truth to power, and people didnt want to feel they wasted their vote on Bush in vain, who ran as a "moderate"so they blamed the messager.

Absolutely nowhere in the world do you have more closed-minded nationists than Red State USA.Yeehaw!

Still, good 'ol liberal rock-n-rollers,including garage rock and 1960s music, has made a big comeback.

Why move to Canada? If they did, they would still try and tour in the US. Why should you waste your time worrying about what the Dixie Chicks are doing? They were ripped up, chastised, and ridiculed for their comments, went away to have kids for a few years, then came back and their new album STILL went to number one. So they can't sell concert tickets as well as they used to...big deal. They're still loaded and you still sit there and obsess yourself over them because they have a different political view than you have and they make more money than you...and that just drives you crazy, doesn't it? Leave them alone...they don't care what you think and you shouldn't care what they think either.

As long as they quite their day jobs and get out of the lime light I don't care. They had a right to say what they said and I got over it, but at least they could had done it in their OWN country. But I keep forgetting whom I'm talking about. One of Country musics worse bands (if that's what they call themselves, they cant sing and the background music sucks) ever, and I LOVE country music.

What is wrong with Canada? CANADA offer American planes safe airspace and airport in Gander, Newfoundland for American planes to land on 911. CANADIAN citizens extend their generosity to the passengers of these planes.Ask those people about their opinions about CANADA. Those American citizens were dambed glad to land on Canadian soil. Enough said.

They should move to Britain, since they felt comfortable enough there to bash their own country. Traitors.

I used to love their music. Actually owned two of their CD's. But you bash on this country, and I'll be damned if I'm going to support that person with my hard earned dollars, specially when we have our boys and girls in harms way, protecting those sophomoric imbiciles.

No. They should stop singing country music.

Madonna speaks out against Bush and I don't think her ticket sales are lagging. Its a matter of genre.

They cut their own throat by exposing their preferences. Not a recommended thing to do when you are trying to reach everyone.
