In "Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life", how do you get Tartar, ruby spice, and find horse races?

I know you can get something called ruby's spice, but what is it? And what about Tartar? And how do you find out about horse races and bet?

You get Ruby's spice by bing her friend and go into her kitchen to get it-used to make curry and other good food.

You get Tartan in year 2. Go into Takakura's house between 6:30-10:00 to get him. You won't get it the first time you go in his house so keep trying-use it to fuse crops-only in SPRING.

There are no horse races.

You have to befriend Ruby to get the spice- its used for cooking.
You wont find Horse races in this game!

Im not so sure about Tartar, but I think you need to befriend Takakakura and then he will mention that you can now order a Great Field, order it and then after you have it walk in his house in the evening when hes in there and there you go!

I think you have to buy the game Harvest moon: Friends of minaral town and hook it up to you gamecube and then conect by going up that windy hill. Oh and try Harvest Moon: Another wonderful life and Harvest moon: Magical melody. you can be a girl in those ones. And guess what! I have all three haha so I would get them if I were you. They are good too and I am a girl too and they are super fun!! you should really try them OK bye bye. PS: from a nine year old little girl.

Make friends with Ruby to get the Spice..Once your friends with her , you enter the kitchen and get the spice....You may not get the spice at first, so keep trying.
