damn. just hard to answer. both are hugely great. but i would choice DOOBIE BROTHERS over the eagles. the doobies have more of a 70s soul and southern rock sound. while the eagles influence is more country. you get more rock out with the doobie brothers

I haven't heard the Doobie Brothers, and all I've heard from The Eagles is Journey of the Sorcerer which is used as the anthem for The HItchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

Both !! But the Eagles will get more votes, especially from a relatively younger voting group. But the Doobies are and always have been great. I think of their music -- it has pretty broad & eclectic roots -- as "Bluegrass Rock." China Grove is one of the all-time great rock and roll hits. But I do agree with the answerer who said the Eagles' songwriting is better. De gustibus non disputandum.

I like the Eagles better. I think the songwriting is better. But I also like the Doobies. :) I grew up listening to both, so they both hold a special place in my heart.

ummmmmm hmmmmmm I DO do love me some Eagles! I have had a crush on Don Henley since I was a little girl. I am 30 now! He's old enough to be my dad. The Eagles' music just speaks to me more.
