ive never downloaded limewire but ive wanted to for a while. now that it got sued, i was wondering if its safe and legal to download it. i was also wondering ifthe users of limewire had to pay anything when it got sued.

like can you download music and not get in trouble?

Limewire itself is legal, but a lot of the content you download with it is not. Make sense? It also makes your computer run slow - spyware.

well limewire is illegal but so many people have it and it is hard to get a hold of everyone that has it go ahead and download it because even if they find you are stealing it they will not charge you they would just kick you off but my friend once had kazza and the company found out he was stealing it and hit him with a virus.

All I know about Limewire is, my son used it to download music and I spent an hour getting it to work again. These programs are deadly to your computer!

illegal just like every other website that has u download music for free, if ur caught u will be fined, did u hear about the girl who was sued 3.7 million dollars becuz she was downloading music on Kazaa. so i would just stick to buyign cd's or just burn cd's from ur friends that already downloaded them to be safe

It is and of itself I believe Legal but what most people use it for definetely not. I don't think it is worth the risks plus with all the viruses and like hidden in the stuff just don't. Hope this helps.

dis is kinda complicated. in a way it is and in way it aint . if u use it for ur own personal use den it should'nt be illeagal. if u use it to make cds and sell dem than it aint legal. before u download ur first song it tell u if da file has a licence or not. it is free to download but u can pay 19.99 if u want to for da pro edition. it is basicly da same thing

It's not illegal for you to download lime wire, you'll just get a lot of free viruses
