Yes, I have a big dog...and what she leaves behind is big. I know I would not want to step in it.
Where I live, it is the law. Even if it wasn't, I would still pick it up.

If I am walking in my neighborhood, yes and I yell at anyone who does not clean up their dogs mess if the dog does it in my yard. If I am up in the mountains, I do not, but I will use a stick or leaves to get it off the trail.

Yes, always. Though in my own yard I only do so before yard work. I have a fenced yard with one side for dogs, the other for the kids play area, and the two are separated by a fence. I really get ticked off by people who do NOT pick up after their dogs on public or worse, private property that is not their own.

Of course! It's my dog, no one else's, therefore, my dog's mess is my mess, too. Why should someone else clean it up? I sure don't want to clean up someone else's!!
