Joe, you've long outstayed your welcome.
You've let us down, it's time to pay the price.
You've been disloyal to voters and your party.
You're way too close to Rummy, Bush, and Rice.
Don't want you back, your war support is damning.
You've dealt democracy so many blows.
You could have blocked Alito, but you failed to.
Joementum Joe, Joementum Joe, it's time to go.
You oft behave as if your word's the gospel.
And show disdain for Dems who disagree.
You've helped Bush/Cheney harm our Constitution.
Your words and actions aid the GOP.
To be Dub's pal became your grand fixation.
Your acts betrayed Dem values we hold dear.
You cast aside the virtues of our nation.
Joementum Joe, it's time to end your Sen. career.

Well, Joe, you're a good man and a wonderful Democrat of the old school, a real class act - too bad your party is being controlled by the "activists" (read, wack-job nutcases) who think that we need an America that sits around in its own borders jerking-off, playing with itself, and talking, forever talking, mostly nonsense about non-existent problems while the real problems go unchecked.
That's what I'd say to Joe.
What I'd say to my buds is: great! Another filthy rich white boy representing the far left wing in Congress - oh, my, but isn't he going to have a LOT of influence! Relevant examples: Bobbie Boxer & John Edwards.

If the state of CT gives Ned Lamont the nod over Joe Liebermann, you are truly mad. Joe Liebermann is a great US Senator, willing to tackle tough issues and speak his conscience regardless of who it will anger. Lamont will be nothing more than a Democratic lap dog, reacting and voting only on the whims of the more radical and outside the mainstream elements of the Democratic party. Keep Liebermann.

I would tell him he has brought the democratic party to the realizaton that the far left has taken it over. There is still a war to be fought in that party.. will see it taking place in the next two years.

You really need to know what you are talking about before you talk......the election is not over, and if the Doms turn their back on him...he doesn't care, he will run as Independent, most likely win, and know exactly where he stands and with whom.....he is one of the best the Dems had....if he loses, he is the one that should be happy, he will be rid of the Lemmings

You placed the security of the nation above your political affiliation.
In a time when people desire only their own personal gain, you have shown character and fortitude seldom seen in these days and times.
May this country always have those of your stature to serve this great nation.

I'd tell him that it takes courage to leave a party that has left you behind, and that what's happening to him might just be the wake-up call that the other moderates in the party need.
