Rhode Island is not the best state. They did a survey on the worst drivers in the COUNTRY and RI was number one. I've driven in Rhode Island. It's true. Plus Rhode Island is way too small. (Oregon has the best drivers).

I live in Massachusetts and choose to move here from Florida because I wanted to be here, but I have not been in every state, so I don't know if I'm qualified to say it's the best.

It's not, however, Rhode Island. (Although RI can be pretty.)

According to Money Magazine, the top cities to live in 2006 are:
1. Fort Collins, CO
2. Naperville, IL
3. Sugar Land, TX
4. Columbia/Ellicott City, MD
5. Cary, NC
6. Overland Park, KS
7. Scottsdale, AZ
8. Boise, ID
9. Fairfield, CT
10. Eden Prairie, MN

And of the entire list, Texas has the most cities.

In 2005, North Dakota had teh lowest crime rate.

So far in 2006, South Dakota and Florida are ties for the lowest unemployment rates.

Vermont had the least amount of births in 2005, while Wyoming had the lowest population (more space for you and me...)
