No,he still had his picture taken with Bush and Rick Warren,trying to "undersatnd" the other side.He gives social liberals a bad name.
I already understand the other side,they're crap,and Bono has joined the ranks.

naaawwww - I could care less what political stance the stars & musicians take; I only want to hear them rock out. If I wanted to go to a political rally I'm sure I could - If I pay big bucks to see U2 or Springsteen perform, rest assured I'm there for the music!!!
Bonnie Raitt pulled that crap at a concert in Richmond once, began spouting her political ideology; a whole lot of folks got up & walked out . . . shut up & sing, alright?! lol

Nope, he is still a loud mouth, no-talent musician who should stick to the recording studio and shut the hell up. He has plenty of his own money he could donate, but doesn't.
