I'm running Windows XP. My PC locks up after about 10 or 15 minutes of me being on it. Faster if I have more than one window open.I don't think it is a virus, as my anti virus program(Norton) is up to date and is automatically updated. To get to unlock, I have to disconnect power source. Only way I have figured out how to do it since nothing works, ie mouse, keyboard.
Let me know what other info is necessary.

It might be something as simple as too much dust inside your PC. I had the same problem, but before I bought software or a new hard drive I opened up the PC and blew the dust out, it hasn't locked up since.

There are many reasons computers lock up. You can have hardware conflicts, bad drivers, heat problems, power problems, virii.
Some easy ways to check is to see how powerful your power supply is, and look in your BIOS to see how hot your CPU is running.
also, try updating all your drivers to the most recent stable copy (avoid beta)

First, fix your computer. Then, come back and tell us what the problem was, since we have no idea!
Seriously, you want help but you neglect giving us the information to do so.
