I would prefer answers from guys on this one.
As you can tell from my avatar, I have very fair skin. I don't tan-I only burn, but I'm not a "ginger kid" or anything. I'm just very pale. I think I have a normal looking face and a good personality, but I've NEVER had a date/boyfriend in my life. Could it be because I'm so pale? Is this something that would turn you off? What is your opinion on this-are you freaked out by pale skin?

Pale is fine. I'm usually more attracted to pale girls.
There is nothing wrong with being pale, and usually if you're pale you aren't foolishly obssessed with being tan (which is skin damage, if it's from the sun or a tanning booth and means you're a likely candidate for skin cancer and also means you'll look older sooner - you'll age prematurely).
I have seen people look much older than they were because they spent a lot of time tanning or in the sun. Most people (esp most females) don't want to look older than they are, but want to look younger.
Stay out of the sun and stay pale and you'll be younger-looking for a longer time.
Chances are that you haven't had a date is that you haven't been in the right place at the right time. This has nothing to do with your complexion. You will meet the right guy at the right time, when the timing is right. Don't worry too much about it and don't blame it on being pale.
It will all happen when it's right.

Hi Beth, I think Munya meant that it's better to be pale than tanned as you could end up with skin cancer.
I totally agree and I'm pale too. You have nothing to worry about, pale skin is beautiful : )

Nope not freaked out by pale skin. Don't beat yourself up about things your born with. You can tan if you want to just wear sun-block and get out in the sun alot, everyone can tan. I doubt anyone hasn't dated you because your pale-skinned. Have confidence in yourself, be flirty and a guy will snatch you up.

being pale doesn't have anything to do with having a boyfriend.
there is nothing wrong with being pale but if u don't like it maybe you should try the tanning bed for 10 minutes 2 times a week. Good luck!

My boyfriend said my paleness is one of my most attractive features. So there are guys out there that like pale skin.

Nope. I like girls either way, pale or not. Personally, pale white skin can be a turn on for me if you're a decent looker and all.

I actually prefer pale to the artifical bronze look. I wouldn't worry about it. Things will pick up for you.

I think pale is very unattractive sorry.... whats that matter right? :p because look at my bro, he thinks pale is super hot....
Reason you haven't had date, etc, might be you are too attractive.

pale isnt bad its pale. f sme1 thinks ur ugly cuz of ur skin tone he's not worth ur time anyway.

I think "skin cancer" is unattractive whether you're male or female.
And it's painful.
