Is this true. If so, why wasn't it in the news?

Yeah They found lots and the thing is, is that Syria got a lot of them and are now using them on Israel....my own idea!

Seriously though With all the activity going on before the invasion of Iraq alot of things were moving into Syria...including the porous border and all the Syrians coming to Iraq to Fight the Americans remember those stories?

Who can trust the news now days? After Dan Rather, this guy from Reuters fabricating pictures. etc.

The only thing that gets to print is what fits the agenda of the news corp.

No significant amount of weapons were found. Some older non-potent Sarine gas was found (left over from the Iran-Iraq war).

The WMD as described by Cheney and Bush's lies never existed. It is just a pre-cursor to invading a country. Nothing else.

In June 2006, Sen. Rick Santorum controversially declared that weapons of mass destruction had been found in Iraq. Bush administration officials indicated that the weapons that had been found were "not in useable conditions, 15 years old or more," and "not the WMDs for which this country went to war." The degraded weaponry, described as "potentially lethal" in the document that Santorum cited, is known to have existed since prior to the 1991 Gulf War.

Because they didn't. It was in the news, but it was relics from 30 years ago. A long way from being a WMD.

The media down played the amount and quality of those found.
They were degraded and old. There was only 500.
The media inferred it was insignificant and not the abundant stock pile used to move in the military option.

It's true and it was in the news on the back page cause the media made such a big hipe about not finding them that they couldn't stand to be made out to be liars to the American people.

The only reason why the USA was so bound determined to find SOMETHING (and who says they didn't put it there themselves, just to say they found something?) was because they still had the receipts of all the weapons they sold Saddam, and helped a loony get into power and maintain his firm grip.

You heard wrong. The current administration even admitted they weren't there. Sad really that we have so much dis-information out there.

Where did you hear this? Why didn't you post your source?
