First get a demo tape done. u would need some money to do that. Or if u have a dude who's good at comps n sound engineerin with u.. ask him to record few of ur suff. U can do the recordin of base track at home. i mean the music part which has keyboards n elec guitars. if u r recordin drums n vocals u should go to a studio to get the quality right. Once u get it done get a website done. there r lotsa website hosts who offer free webspace. try one of em. Put samples of ur songs out there. Make few cds n send em to record companies. never loose heart. U r music might b somethin that someone was waitin for. In the meantime try improvin ur fame by playin at local gigs n private parties. That gives u a good xposure. not only that... u may not know, some big shot record producer could b a guest in one of those events. Most of the bands and music groups made it big by starting small. When ever you get the chance to perform either in a wedding, resteraunt, fair, birthday party or any other place with people take the chance. You can also try putting it on the internet. That way it will make good practice and you will get opinions from people to help you get better.Hopefully you'll get discovered.GOOD LUCK!!

Get a page for your band on Myspace.
Buy a karaoke machine that records your music, use it without the karaoke songs that go with it. Send in the tapes you made to all the record companies along with a typed version of a letter explaining that they can get your band now for cheep.
Preform at parties and events for free, just to get the exposure.
Give free street concerts where it is legal. Make sure to get your name out there.
Make t-shirts with the band's name on it. Give them to all your friends and family, make them walking billboards.

Shows, Shows, and more shows....this sometimes means taking a loss on your side though. Try to get as much publicity as possible. Offer free concerts every now and then sometimes with no cover charge...Like I said it might mean taking a loss on your side but sometimes that is what it takes....to get yourself out there and advertise yourselves.

i know how to solve ur problem do like my idols did.....start a site on myspace put ur bands music on there get....random gigs at dances or whatever dose not really matter and most of all ....HAVE FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!......byes
