Bert vs Ernie (Sesame Stree)?

Question

Bert and Ernie are two Muppets on the long-running PBS children's television show Sesame Street. The two appear together in numerous skits, forming a comic duo that is one of the centerpieces of the program.

I could care less if they were gay or not.
I grew up watching them and will except them which ever way they are.

I would have to say Ernie.

Bert is angry pretty much all the time, so we have had plenty of time to see what he has to offer.

Ernie on the other hand is very laid back and probably bottles all his anger up, so when he finally snaps it's likely he will go on a killing spree that will leave the sesame street running with blood of muppets everywhere.

And there was a Bert and Ernie in "It's a Wonderful Life" (Bert is a cop and Ernie is a cab driver), although the creators of Sesame Street say that is a coincidence.

Bert was always such a stick in the mud, but Ernie was all about fun. Plus, Ernie/Rubber duck=OTP.

Sesame Street appeared after i was the appropriate age to watch it, so i cannot say i am very familiar with the two characters you mentioned. (I do know Kermit The Frog.....but from his later role on The Muppet Show.)

I always liked Ernie growing up. He is the more jovial of the two and he sings "Rubber Duckie."
