Yes, there are still tribes out there that practice cannibalism. I'm positive there are people in the united states that would kill you and eat you if they could get away with it.
Human flesh is supposed to taste like pork and is referred to as 'Long pig' in some other areas. Also supposed to smell like pork when cooking. Darn I'm getting hungry now.
The best thing you can do is get a T-shirt that says, 'Please, don't eat me.' and make sure you carry the hottest hot sauce you can find around with you, so if someone does try to devour you, you can just dash that on and they'll be so busy trying to find water or bread to ease the burning in their throat, that you can make your escape.
Oh, btw. DO NOT look under your house. Crazy buggers try to hide under there sometimes. Sneaky lil things cannibals.

Yes, i would think that their are some sick o"s out there there would cannibalize people. Now there are some tribes that still have cannibal tendencies or rituals. They ain't in the states though.

If you live in the U.S., don't worry--there's only been one conviction for cannibalism in the U.S., and that was in the 1800's (one of the Missouri colleges named their cafeteria after him). I'm sure there are a few here and there in other parts of the world, but I saw a Bloom County cartoon once that addressed it. It was in the 1980's so Charles and Diana were still married. They were getting ready for a party the king of Uganda was attending. Diana said "Doesn't he eat people?" to which Charles replied, "Well not at a bleeding cocktail party!"

There are many out there but few practice that particular lifestyle. In the Jungles of Borneo there is a Tribe that always eats their enemy that they are able to kill or capture.....just don't go to Borneo....if you are really worried that they may learn English and fly to where you are....Google info on how to fight cannibalism
