Don't worry, my doctor told me i had one too! it just means that your cervix tilts the other way. There are usually no complications with this, although you may feel as though your partner is hitting something during intercourse which can be a little painful!

It's not a problem, just a bit unuasual. Your cervix should usually point downwards. If it is inverted it is pointing at an angle towards the front of your vagina, if its retroverted it points towards the back. It shouldn't cause any problems with childbirth, intercourse or wearing tampons etc. It just makes it more difficult when the dr does a smear test.

inverted ?.... a cervixusually can't be inverted... except if the uterus prolapses... one CAN have a anteverted/ posterioverted uterus though... where the uterus bends forwards or backwards within the pelvis... posterioverted uteri are associated with difficult births
