Nope, I have found great deals on Ebay, but you should comparative shop no matter where you buy. Some of those people on Ebay have a great price but stick you with monster shipping charges.

I have bought lots of CDs from eBay sellers. I haven't been ripped off. Sometimes it takes the items a while to arrive, but they always do.

Ebay is never a rip off. You need to be a smart customer when you use a third-party mercendise site like that one.
I presume you tried to buy a hammer from someone and got a hidge. =P

No, it's just a matter of choosing the products + who you purchase them off carefully enough instead of just diving into making a bid.
I've picked up quite a few bargains on Ebay over the years, such as computer games for my Nokia N-Gage for instance, among other things.

depends on where you go and what you get. lots of stuff on eBay is either second hand or aftermarket products. some are originals and such but you need to be careful when looking for items. especially clothes since there are a number of imposter sellers on ebay trying to pawn off fake merchandise.

who said it was ALWAYS a rip off? its not its almost 100% better than most retail stores to get stuff! I always buy stuff from Ebay, it just depends on where you buy it from to get different quality! its one of the best websites ever!

i've received at least 100 items from ebay that are great.
i've received at least 10 items from ebay that were total rip offs.

I've had both really good and really bad buys and sells on e-bay I guess it just depends... best of luck next time
