Are you sure you want to do that?

We sure have a lot of consealed handguns and oil refineries that may come in handy later.

At least our electoral votes are consistent -- you'll know what to expect in the next election. And as my co-worker always says, if you can't be right; be consistent.

Besides, If you get rid of us, you'll have to pick on Alabama, and that's just not as much fun.

Yes, please. Throw Texas out of the Union!

I have been saying for a long time that Texas should secede from the Union (we are the only state that has that right), but I know that will never happen........so

PLEEEEEEASE THROW TEXAS OUT!

Isn't that par for the course.... keep 'em in because they are rich.
Remember in all regards "Thou shalt not covet"

EDIT: Thanks for the corrections -- at least we are polite down here in the South.

we have a movement to succeed from the Union here and to keep our refineries, our chemical plants etc. You need us alot more than we need you.

Hey what elected office do you hold? Yeah - thought so.

Debydoo, the word is "secede,' not "succeed," and '"Thou' shalt not covet,'" not "Thy." Texas obviously can't secede because the citizens are too stupid.
