i have a weddinf to go to in a week. its not to formal but its in texas and i think its hot there.(ive never been there before). any advice or good websites on what i should wear?

It's hot and humid here. Wear a nice sundress, nice shoes and do get your hair fixed along with great makeup. Do have your shades with you. Also you may want a nice hat to keep the sun from beating on your face and keep you from squinting like every other hatless nut.
Do look fashionable.....most Texans take pride in their appearance. If it so happens that others are dressed down, don't worry about it as long as you look fabulous!

Texas is a nice place to be its hot in the summer just like all the other states..
What part of Texas are u goin 2 and maybe we can help
I lived in Texas (Gatesville, Coppers cove, Kileen, Forth worth Etc) for a long time And Loved it there but mostly wore shorts all the time

You could try and find a very pretty sun dress that has semi formal look to it. I live in Texas and if the wedding isn't going to be outside then any type of semi-formal wear will do. Most places here are air conditioned.

Yes, it is hot in TX but you are likely to be spending much of the day in air conditioning, so I would wear either a skirt and dressy top combo or a dress. I would bring a jacket or cardigan, in case the ac is too cold. I would also wear dressier jewelry than normal and heels.

If it is not too formal then go with a casual dress with cut off sleeves. Type in texas summer/ wedding attire and see what comes up. good luck!

Yes it's very hot because i live in Austin Tx Ware shorts spaghetti straps when your not at the wedding

i would wear a nice bright color since it is summer, and everyone else will be wearing neutrals... summer dresses are always great.. gauchos with a nice dressy top and heels owuld be nice too! Just to warn you its in the high 90's there right now!

Sorry about all the guys being, well, the way they are. You're right, it will be hot, so I would suggest a loose fitting dress or skirt and sandals.

im from tex. yes it is hot. but u should still dress 4 the occassion. it will most likely b inside a church so u wont b that hot. have fun!

Your not in the wedding are you? A cute sundress would be ideal. But not white or creme or off white. Save that for the bride.
