I've met a lot of nice people but I can't mention them all here. they are people that would give you their last penny, open their doors to a stranger in trouble, drive miles out of their way to get to you to help you out, get trains late at night to get to you with no way of them getting back. I can't go on because I get choked up, but thank god there are many people in this world like that.

My mate Jay is probably the only person in the world I know where no one has a bad word to say about him. He's without doubt the nicest person I've ever met and I know everyone who knows him would say the same. He's always looked after me when I was on hard times. We've been friends since we were 11 and have been going the match together for 14 years (we're 28 now.) We had season tickets next to each other for twelve of those years and he's never ever let me down in life at any time. He is a prime example of the definition of the word "friend". Absolute class that lad.

A male friend of mine. He is gentle and kind and never says a bad word about anyone but he's also funny and interesting and he's modest without having a poor self-image. He's the only person I know I could tell anything to and I wouldn't feel like he's judging me - even though he is certainly not the closest person to me in the world.

i was travelling around europe and got to barcelona, we slept on the beach on night and got our wallets robbed while sleeping, when we cancelled them we went back to the car it had been towed away!!! we went to the garage were they told us it was 150 euro fine and after four hrs it would go up about 20 euros every hour! with our wallets gone this meant we would have to wait for money to get sent to us while the bill would keep rising meaning we would loose the car and be stuck in barcelona!!!(we had already used back home for money lots of times)
We got talking to a few people waiting to see someone in the garage, when this lady from birmingham started talking to us, they where moving from england to spain, when we where talking we got on the subject of being unlucky and explained our situation..after talking to her husband for about 3 minutes she came back over and insisted we took 250 euros off her for the bill for the car and money for a bit of food!!!!
She give us her email address and said "i will leave it up to you to pay me back, i have done this before and never received the money back and my husband says i am mad!! but ill leave it with you"
To this day every person i tell that story is amazed by that womans generosity as i myself am!!!
The same trip a woman in italy let us sleep in her garage out of a storm and fed us dinner after church...also an american working at a university in florence let us stay on his land, that night he cooked a bbq for his friends and brought us out some stake, which is amazing when your living off cheese sandwhiches.
