The special effects would cost to much for a movie like that. Not enough interest in Green Lantern to make it worth it.

It would be an awesome film, but here lies the problem, which Green Lantern use: Alan Scott, Hal Jordan, Kyle Rayner, or John Stewart? I choose these four because these four are the best Green Lanterns, and they are the ones with the best storylines.

No. Absolutely not.
Think about the goofy stuff GL makes in his fights. Trains, giant fans, etc. That doesn't work well in comics, it would be a disaster on screen.
So you make him serious? Then he's just got a laser beam ring.
Also, people don't understand that "will power" is different from "imagination". He's a difficult character to write.

I think that there should be movies for all comic book heros! It'll help the comics from being considered inferior. Plus more comic movies will bring me to the movies more often.

There's a lot that DC could do: Flash, Wonder Woman, HawkMan.
