You could ask, but do you really want your mom telling you about that? Sounds uncomfortable. There's plenty of information available online. If you want to ask though, just ask; being scared won't help you learn what you want to know. Good luck.

Of course you should ask! Hopefully your mother will be open with you about sex topics. Just tell her you didn't want to ask friends because you wanted to make sure you were getting the real facts. I would much rather my daughter come to me than anyone else.

ask, by all means, ask. she has been through it and would probabely feeled honored if you asked her, you should have an open relationship with your mother, its better to ask her than to hear about it in school from total morons or on here and get rude responces and peverted people answering so yes you should ask your mom for information

If you have a good relationship with her, then you should be able to talk to her about anything. Masturbation is a normal, healthy, side-effect free part of your sexuality.

You could ask but your mum can't really tell you how to masturbate, it's all about finding out for yourself. Everyone's different and your mum certainly won't know what works for you!

Bring it up as if you overheard some older kids talking about it. and ask her what it is. say something like i heard it's safer than sex. that we get her attention and make her open up to you becasue she'll realize that your getting to be that age.
