Is it possible to not have the pregnancy horomone and be pregnant?

Depends on how you test for that hormone. My sister was a good two months pregnant before she found out that she was (her periods were irregular so it made it difficult for her to know). She'd been using the urine tests and they all said "negative" but she still wasn't feeling "right" so she finally went to the doctor's and they did a blood test and it came back "positive"! Urine tests are not as accurate as blood testing so I'd suggest you get a blood test done if you're still not feeling "right". A doctor has told me that if you're pregnant, a blood test can even tell you so one day after conception (it's that accurate!) whereas a urine test can't. Good luck!

No, but it is possible for your body to think it's pregnant and feign the pregnancy symptoms. It's a psychological condition also known as pseudopregnancy or pseudocyesis. In this case, you would not have elevated levels of the hormone.

Also, an ectopic pregnancy typically would not produce enough of the hormone to give you a positive readout on a pregnancy test right away.

Hope this helps.

No, not unless you're taking fertility drugs or an hCG trigger shot. Your can't be pregnant without hCG, the pregnancy hormone. That's what the body produces when you become pregnant and what is needed to sustain a pregnancy

No that is not possible. When a fertilized egg travels to the uterus and attaches to the lining 6 to 12 days after conception, it will begin to give off hCG and this pregnancy hormone will travel through your body. An at home pregnancy test detects the levels of hCG in urine. It is possible to have low levels of hCG but it is not possible to have no levels of hCG.
