A bad idea.
First you do not know if they are genuine
Second if they are, well, you do not know who they will actually get through to.
(If you do speak to one, do not give out ANY personal info - You would be VERY surprised how much they can find out about you via your name & date of birth etc)

NO! NO! NO!.....in my view an extremely bad idea.
I guess there are broadly 2 types of psychic
1) con artists
2) the real article
Its easy to say why going to the former is a mistake, though I would maintain that the latter are even more harmful.
The crux of this is what is the mechanism by which a stranger can know intimiate details about our lives. I would argue that it is via the spritual realm. If you believe that there is a spiritual dimension to this world, then the next question is, is it all good?
Well as a christian I would say most certainly not. There are good and evil spiritual forces and I believe psychics are tapping into the 'dark side'? That is not to say they are bad people necessarily - they may well be very well meaning, but they are dabbling in dangerous things that they cannot control.
As Snafu 1 says the Bible is very clear on this - don't do it - we are really not meant to know our futures.
Not wanting to be all preachy - I am saying this out of concern.

if you feel it this way go. be prepared not everyone who advertises as psychic is the real one. Do not tell anything about yourself, con men build theory upon u have said. They ask you y you came, you say I've got money problem and they will tell you what u would like to hear. Be careful. Even if you think some pieces of information are true do not believe it totally, it may cause trauma when this revelation comes to reality or not. Do not take personally anything what might spoil your good visions of your future. This psychic can be wrong and you by worrying will bring upon you what you do not want.
Spiritual people always say: look deep inside, all answers are within yourself. Meditate.

If you are a Christian, it's against God to see a psychic. Any divination is forbidden. It's in the Bible. You gotta just accept the unknown parts of your life. You can't cheat by finding out if you are going to be wealthy, married, sick, or how long you're going to live. You gotta just live life and hope for the best.

i'm addicted too. I continuously theory it can be a reliable theory to have a favorites section for each consumer next to their consumer call. That way, they do no longer ought to click by ability of the menu to discover their popular sections. I also imagine it can be a reliable theory for the Yahoo! crew to no longer delete questions that do not violate regulations. human beings record one yet another on the dumbest issues--like if someone asks a question about perspectives on something and some different person would not trust those certain perspectives (abortion and homosexual marriage are tender topics for that). human beings receives indignant--it occurs--yet that does no longer advise something else persons would not favor to envision what others ought to say. I do imagine they ought to loosen the "no chatting" rule, yet no longer take it away thoroughly. i appreciate the "no longer worth answering" button. they ought to also enable human beings to provide questions thumbs up and thumbs down.

Actually, you should go to TWO different psychics, right after each other. If they agree, I eat my hat.
Better yet, go to three.
Then go and get your money back.

Don't pay too much, be sceptical, and believe only the stuff that'll help you in your life. Do that, and it can't really hurt.
